How much does it cost to sell digital downloads on Drry?+
Nothing beyond your plan, and the free plan includes it. Drry's platform fee on a sale is 0%, on every plan. The charge runs directly on your own Stripe account, so the only processing cost is Stripe's standard fee, and that goes to Stripe rather than to us.
What kinds of files can I sell?+
Any file: a PDF workbook, a video, an audio session, a zip of templates or presets. You pick the price and how long each buyer's download link stays live.
Do my buyers need an account?+
No, and that is deliberate. They pay with an email address and the download appears straight away, plus a receipt with the link inside it. Fewer steps between a bio link and a sale is the entire point.
What if someone starts checkout and does not pay?+
On Creator and Growth you can remind them. Shoppers give their email before the payment form opens, and if they have not paid 30 minutes later, an automation journey you build can email them: start from the ready-made “Bring back a checkout” journey, or use the “Leaves checkout without paying” trigger in your own. The email fills in the product's name, its price, a product card and a link straight back to the product. You can also attach one of your offers, and every shopper gets their own code: it works only with the email it was sent to, until they buy with it, for the number of days you pick, and the link applies it for them. Each person gets at most one reminder journey per product, nothing once they have paid, and no more than one reminder email a day. If you are based in the EU, EEA, UK or Canada, checkout shows the usual box for email updates from you, and a shopper who unticks it is never reminded. Reminders count toward your monthly email sends like any automated email, and your Orders page shows how many shoppers left without paying, how many of them got a reminder and how many came back and bought.
Can someone share the download link?+
Each link is signed and expires with the window you chose when you created the product, so it is not a permanent public URL. If you refund someone, their access closes immediately.
What happens if I want to stop selling something?+
Archive it and it disappears from your store right away, while everyone who already bought keeps their access. Drry will not let you permanently delete a product while a buyer's download window is still open, because that would destroy a file someone paid for.
Is this a Stan Store or Gumroad alternative?+
Yes. You get the same two halves, a bio link and a store that sells digital files, with 0% taken on every plan. What is different is what happens after the sale: on Drry that buyer's email joins your audience, and they can become a member of your community, work through your courses, and hear from you again, instead of being a transaction you never see twice.
Do I need my own Stripe account?+
Yes. You connect Stripe once in Settings, and it stays yours: the balance, the payouts, and the customer relationships. Drry never holds your money.
