Our commitment

We take 0% of what your members pay you.

On every plan, including the free one. Not as a launch offer, not until you cross a revenue threshold, and not only if you use our payment processor. This page says exactly what that covers, what it does not, and why we are able to mean it.

The commitment

Drry has never taken a percentage of a coach's revenue, and we are not planning to start. Our platform fee is 0% on every plan, on memberships, payment links, product sales and tickets alike, and we make our money from a flat monthly subscription instead.

Stated publicly on . If we ever proposed to change it, we would say so on this page and in writing to every coach on the platform, with notice, rather than by editing a footnote.

The small print, in full

What 0% covers, and what it does not.

A promise with an unstated exception is worth less than no promise, so here is the whole of it, both halves.

We take 0% of

Membership subscriptions
Monthly or yearly, at one price or across membership levels. The charge is created on your own Stripe account, and no application fee is attached to it.
Payment links and installments
A one-time link or a fixed number of monthly installments, with the agreement signed before checkout opens. Same account, same 0%.
Digital products
Every file you sell from your bio-link store, on every plan including free.
Event tickets
Paid sessions and workshops settle to your account like everything else.

What you still pay, and to whom

Stripe's own fees
Whatever Stripe charges, Stripe charges you, not us: your connected account is set up so that Stripe's fees come out of your balance rather than ours, and Stripe publishes and sets that schedule rather than we do. Card processing is the main one, about 2.9% + 30 cents on a card in the US. None of it reaches us and we add nothing on top of it, but we are not going to pretend your sale is free of cost either.
Your Drry plan
A flat monthly subscription: $0 on Free, $29 on Creator, $99 on Growth. It does not move when your revenue does. That is the whole business model, and it is why 0% costs us nothing to promise.
Live video beyond your plan
If you run native video rooms past what your plan includes, and only if you switch overage on yourself, those minutes are billed as usage against a spend cap you set to the cent. It is a charge on video minutes, never a share of what your members pay you, and you can leave it off.
Why we can mean it

This is not restraint. It is the business model.

The money never touches us

Your members pay your own Stripe account directly. Drry is not in the flow of funds, does not hold a balance for you, and does not pay you out on a schedule. There is nothing for us to take a percentage of on the way past, which is a different thing from choosing not to.

Your growth costs us almost nothing

A community earning ten times more does not cost us ten times more to run. A platform whose price scales with your revenue is charging you for its own upside, not for its costs, and we would rather charge a flat price we can defend.

It is the one thing that cannot be copied cheaply

A platform that already takes a percentage cannot drop to 0% without cutting revenue on every customer it has today. That is why this is a position and not a promotion: it is expensive for them and free for us, and it always will be.

For comparison

What the others charge, in their own words.

Quoted from each platform's own pricing, with the date we last checked it and a link to the source. Read the labels: a percentage on one of these rows is a platform cut, and on another it is ordinary card processing that you would pay anywhere, including here. We are not going to blur the two to make our own case.

Skool

July 2026
Hobby plan
10% + $0.30 per member payment
Pro plan
2.9% + $0.30 up to $899, 3.9% + $0.30 above
Our reading (August 2026, third-party pricing breakdowns): All-in: that rate already contains card processing, so Skool's own margin on Pro is close to nothing until a single payment passes $899, where about 1% returns. Hobby's 10% is all-in the same way, leaving roughly 7 points of Skool margin.

Thinkific

September 2026
Using Thinkific Payments
will not incur a third-party payment gateway fee, at 2.9% to process the card
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of thinkific.com/pricing, which states the gateway-fee waiver rather than a 0% rate): This is the strongest fee story of any platform here and it is fair to call it 0%, as long as 0% is understood as THINKIFIC'S OWN MARGIN rather than 0% of the payment: the 2.9% is ordinary card processing, which every platform's processor charges. What it is conditional on is the row below.
Using Stripe or PayPal instead
an additional third-party payment gateway fee applies and it varies per plan type
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of thinkific.com/pricing, which states the fee varies by plan without naming the rates): The mirror image of the row above, and the one to read first if you want to keep your own payment account: bring your own and Thinkific charges a cut of its own on top of that account's processing, at a rate that falls as the plan gets dearer. Their pricing page states that the fee exists and varies without naming the rates; their help centre publishes the per-plan figures, so look there rather than guessing.
The TCommerce default payment methods
the transaction fees vary
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of thinkific.com/pricing, which states these fees vary without naming any of them): The quietest of the three, and it applies to methods that are ON by default rather than to something you opt into. Their pricing page offers Apple Pay and Google Pay as its examples here and names no rate for any of them, which is not the same as saying the wallets cost more: the per-method schedule lives in their help centre. So do not assume the single 2.9% above covers every method a buyer is offered at checkout, and do not assume it does not. Read the schedule before you model it.

Substack

September 2026
Paid subscriptions
10% of your subscription revenue
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of Substack's help center, which states Stripe's card and recurring-billing fees apply in addition): Substack's own cut, and not the whole cost: Stripe charges its card fee on top, plus a further fee on recurring billing, so what reaches you is meaningfully less than 90%. Read 10% as the floor, not the total. The cut also never stops, so it grows with you for as long as you stay.

Discord

September 2026
Server Subscriptions
a Platform Fee, plus a Payment Processing Fee and a Transaction Fee as applicable
Our reading (September 2026, Discord's Creator Revenue FAQ, which states the 90/10 split): Discord summarises this elsewhere as a 90/10 split in your favour, and 90% is the ceiling rather than the figure: the platform fee is the 10%, and the processing and transaction fees in the Terms come off on top of it. A subscription bought inside the iOS app pays Apple as well, which Discord handles by charging iOS members a higher price.

Gumroad

September 2026
Sold through your own link
10% + $0.50 per sale
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of gumroad.com/pricing; its detailed fee article is no longer publicly readable): Quoted from Gumroad's pricing page, and deliberately with no processing line beside it: the detailed fee article that used to say whether card processing sits inside or on top of this now requires a login, so we do not state it either way. Check it in your own account before you model a margin on it.
Found through Gumroad Discover
30% per sale

Memberful

September 2026
Standard
4.9% transaction fee
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of memberful.com/pricing, which states the fee without addressing processing): Read the monthly price and this together rather than one at a time: both apply, so the bill rises with your revenue on top of the subscription. Memberful's pricing page does not say whether card processing sits inside the 4.9%, so we do not state it either way; payments run through a Stripe account you connect, so confirm it there.

beehiiv

September 2026
Paid subscriptions
0% Take Rate on Paid Subscriptions
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of beehiiv.com/pricing, where the 0% take rate sits under the paid tiers and the FAQ states monetization starts on a paid plan): The strongest fee story of any platform here, and the condition is which plan it is on: 0% is listed as a Scale and Max feature, not as a Launch one, and beehiiv's own FAQ says monetization unlocks on a paid plan. So the zero cut is bought with a subscription rather than available from a standing start, and what the subscription costs depends on how many subscribers you hold.
Payment processing
Stripe's standard processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

Squarespace

September 2026
Basic
7% transaction fee on digital products
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of squarespace.com's transaction-fee article, whose digital-products table is the one that covers memberships and courses): Squarespace files member areas, courses and memberships under digital products, so this is the rate that applies to what your members pay you. It is charged on top of the monthly subscription rather than instead of it, and on top of payment processing, so it is the platform's own cut rather than an all-in rate.
Core
5% transaction fee on digital products
Plus
1% transaction fee on digital products
Advanced
0% transaction fee on digital products
Our reading (September 2026, our own reading of the plan and fee tables on squarespace.com, read together): The zero is real and it is bought: Advanced is the only one of the four plans that reaches it, and it lists at $139 a month. Every cheaper plan takes a percentage of what your members pay you, so quoting Squarespace as a 0% platform without naming Advanced would describe the most expensive plan and charge the reader for the other three.
No Digital Products plan
9%
Online store, physical goods
2% on Basic, then 0% on Core, Plus and Advanced

FAQ

The fee questions.

Does the 0% fee apply on the free plan too?

Yes, and that is the point of saying it here rather than in a pricing footnote. There is no plan on Drry where we take a share of what your members pay you. A coach on the free plan keeps exactly the same 100% as a coach on Growth.

Is 0% an introductory rate?

No. It is not a promotion, a launch offer, or a rate that steps up at a revenue threshold. This page is our public statement of it, 31 August 2026, and if we ever proposed to change it we would say so here first and in writing to every coach, not in a pricing-page footnote.

So what do I actually pay?

Stripe's fees, and your Drry plan. Stripe bills you directly on its own published schedule, card processing being the main one at about 2.9% + 30 cents in the US, and none of it passes through us. Your Drry plan is $0, $29 a month, or $99 a month, and the only charge we add beyond it is live-video usage past what your plan includes, which is opt-in and capped by you to the cent. What no part of that includes is a share of your revenue going to us, on any plan.

Who holds the money?

You do. Payments run as direct charges on a Stripe account in your own name, so your customers, their subscriptions, and their payment methods belong to your business rather than to ours. If you left Drry tomorrow, that account and those subscribers would still be yours.

How much does a percentage actually cost?

Multiply it out over a year rather than reading it per payment, because that is how it lands. A cut of a few percent on a community earning a few thousand a month is a four-figure annual bill, and it grows exactly as you do, while a flat subscription does not. Our calculator does the arithmetic on your own numbers.
