Signing in
There are no passwords in Drry. How the emailed code works, how long you stay signed in, and why a custom domain asks again.

- security
Drry has no passwords, for you or for your members. You enter your email address, we send a code, you type it in. Nothing to invent, nothing to forget, nothing to leak.
How long you stay in
A year, and it renews as you use it. Somebody who visits your community regularly should almost never have to sign in again.
Where the code comes from
From Drry by default, branded as your community. If you have connected your own sending domain, sign-in codes come from your domain too, which is worth doing precisely because this is the moment a member is deciding whether to trust the email in front of them.
Common questions
Can I set a password instead?
No. It is a deliberate design decision, and it removes a whole class of problem for you and for your members.
Can somebody be signed in on two devices?
Yes, as many as they like.
How do I sign out everywhere?
Sign out on each device. There is no remote sign-out control today.
