Set your button style

Every call to action you publish is a button, and Drry lets you set how those buttons look once, for the whole community, instead of section by section. You choose the corners, the size, the label style, the fill and the shadow, and every button that follows the default picks it up.

There are two separate defaults. One is for your funnel pages. The other is for your members' Home and your join page. They live side by side in Customize, in the Buttons section.

The six controls

Hover a choice for its full name. Each control has Auto as its first choice.

• Shape: Pill (fully round), Round (softly rounded corners) or Square.

• Size: S, M or L. This scales the button's height, its side padding and its label together.

• Label size: S, M or L, on its own. Auto here means the label follows the button size. Set it when you want a roomy button with quieter type, or the reverse. When both are set, Label size wins for the text.

• Label case: Aa keeps the label as you wrote it. AA shows it in capitals with wider letter spacing.

• Fill: Solid is a filled button in your accent colour. Line is a thin accent outline with no fill. Soft has no fill and no outline, just an accent label, with a faint tint on hover.

• Depth: Flat has no shadow, Lift a soft shadow under the button, and Pop a hard offset shadow for a poster look.

There is no colour control here. Fill names a treatment, and the colour always comes from your accent. Change the accent under Customize, then Colors, or override it for a single funnel page.

What each default reaches

Landing pages

The buttons in your published funnel pages: the call to action in sections such as Hero, Offer, Closing call to action and Floating button, and the ready-made designed sections. That last one is the point of the setting. Each designed section arrives with the corners its designer drew, so a page that mixes them can end up with three button shapes. Choose a Shape here and they all match.

The page header button and the email sign-up button follow Shape, Label case, Fill and Depth, but keep their own height, so a Large size never blows out your navigation or leaves a submit button taller than its field.

Home and join page

On your members' Home, the sections that draw a configurable button are Call to action, Countdown and Community when it is set to its Button layout. Quick links and the Continue card keep their standard look.

On your join page, only a Call to action section takes the default.

What it does not touch

These defaults reach content you compose, never the community app itself. Your navigation, the feed, the course player and the member tab bar are unaffected. So are the buttons in your emails, which are styled in the email editor.

Overriding it for one page or one button

The Customize default is the top of a short chain, and the nearest setting wins. A control left on Auto falls through to the one above it.

1. Customize, Buttons: your default.

2. One funnel page: in the page editor, click Settings in the toolbar to open Page settings, then scroll to Buttons. It shows that it is following your Studio default, with a link back to it.

3. One section: click the section, open its Style tab, and use the This button panel. It appears on sections that have a button, in the funnel editor and in the Home builder. Its banner shows what it is following, and changing any control overrides just that button.

On sections that have their own Fill choice (Solid, Outline or Ghost), such as Hero, Offer, Closing call to action and Floating button on a funnel page, or Call to action on your Home, that Fill sits at the top of the This button panel and is the one to use for that section.
