Resources is a tab in your community where members find the files you share with them: worksheets, meal plans, templates, slide decks, checklists. Members browse it by folder, search it, filter it by type, and download a file with one tap. It is on every plan, including Free, and the files count toward your storage like everything else you upload.

Turn it on

New communities start with Resources on. If your community was created before it launched, open Resources in your console and press Turn on on the banner, or switch it on in Customize, then Tabs. You can rename the tab there too, to Toolkit, Downloads, Library or anything that fits, and change the heading and the empty-state message members see.

Add files

  1. Open Resources

    Find Resources in your console.

  2. Drop in your files

Drop files anywhere on the page, or press Add files. You can add many at once; each one can be up to 2 GB.

  3. Title and describe each one

New files arrive as drafts, so members do not see them until you publish. Give each one a clear title and a short description: members search both.

Members download PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, CSV, text and Markdown files, images, ZIP archives and MP4 video. Files are never shown inside Drry: members download them to open them.

To swap a file for a newer version, open it and choose Replace file. The title, description, folder and download count stay as they are.

Organise with folders

Create a folder, give it a title, a description and an optional cover photo (up to 10 MB), then drag files into it. Drag folders and files to set their order; members see them in that order under Coach's order. Folders are one level deep. Files you have not put in a folder show under the folders.

Any file can have its own cover photo. A file without one shows its type icon.

Publish, and tell members if you want to

Select files and press Publish. You can tick Email members to send one email listing the files to members who can open them. It is off every time unless you tick it, and it is for the community owner or an admin.

  • It counts toward your monthly email allowance, like a broadcast.

  • A member gets at most 20 community emails a day, coach posts included, so anyone already at that limit is skipped.

  • If your allowance cannot cover everyone, nobody is emailed and Drry tells you why. The files are still published.

Files published in the last 14 days carry a New label for members.

Choose who can open what (Growth)

On Growth, with membership tiers, you can limit the whole tab, a folder or a single file to a tier and up. Choose Shown as locked to let other members see the file and which tier opens it, or Hidden from others to keep it out of sight entirely. A limit on a folder applies to every file inside it, and moving a file out of a limited folder keeps that limit on the file.

Who can do what

  • Owner and admins: everything, including emailing members and setting tier limits.

  • Editors: upload, edit, organise, publish and delete files and folders. Emailing members and tier limits are shown locked.

  • Members: browse, search and download what their membership opens.

See what members use

Each file shows how many times it has been downloaded. The count goes up each time somebody downloads, so one member downloading twice counts twice.

Ask your assistant

If you have connected Drry to Claude, it can read your library, edit titles and descriptions, move files between folders, reorder, create folders, publish, and email members about files. It cannot upload a file or a cover photo, and it can only delete a file that was never published; do those in the console. See What an assistant can do.
