The sign-in code didn't arrive

What to check, what the error messages mean, and the one case you cannot fix yourself.

Drry has no passwords. You type your email, we send a six digit code, you type it back. When the code does not turn up, it is usually one of these.

  1. Check spam and promotions

    By far the most common answer. The email comes from an address at notifications.drry.com with a subject that ends in "sign-in code".

    Mark it as not spam so the next one arrives properly.

  2. Check the spelling

    Especially the part after the @. Drry catches common slips like gmail.con and offers a correction, but it cannot catch a typo in your own business domain.

  3. Check it has not expired

    Codes last a few minutes. If you have been away from the tab, request a new one. There is a resend button after a thirty second wait.

  4. Check you are on the right sign-in page

    Signing in to your dashboard at drry.com is separate from signing in to a community at its own address. The code from one does not work on the other.

    Request the code from the page you are actually trying to get into.
