A guide is a structured how-to. An intro, a list of what you need, numbered steps, and notes. Members can tick items off, scale the quantities, and keep the screen awake while they work through it.
Guides are in the sidebar under Guides, on every plan, with no limit on how many.
Make sure the Guides tab is switched on in Customize, under Tabs, or your members will not see any of them.
Press New guide
It creates a draft and opens the editor. Unlike lessons, the guide editor saves as you type. The badge at the top tells you when.
Add a cover and a title
A landscape photo works best, at least 1200 by 900. Or skip the photo and pick a cover colour.
Set the guide type
In the right column: General, Recipe, Workout, Protocol, Tutorial or Project.
This changes the information published underneath the page for search engines and apps. Picking Recipe is what lets someone save your guide into a recipe app like Paprika or AnyList.
Fill in the parts you need
Meta chips are small labelled facts: prep time, yield, difficulty. You name them.
What you need is one list you can rename to Ingredients or Equipment. Each row has an amount, a unit and an item. You can make it tickable.
Steps, up to a hundred, each with an optional title, a body, and one image or video.
Notes at the end for tips and substitutions.
Publish
Set the status to published in the right column. Your members see it under the Guides tab, and it goes into the new-content email.
