Schedule your first event
Creating an event, choosing who can join and how it runs, and what your members receive.

Events live under Events and Booking in the sidebar. It opens on a month view, with List and Week views beside it, and a Recordings tab.
Before anything else, make sure the Events tab is switched on for members. That is a separate article and it is the thing that catches everyone.
Press New event
Two choices in the menu: Create an event to schedule something, or Instant meeting to open a room right now and share the link.
You can also click any empty day in the month view to start an event on that date.
Fill in the basics
Title, date and time, and how long it runs. Duration is a dropdown from thirty minutes to four hours, defaulting to an hour.
Choose who can join
Four options: Members, Invite only, Anyone with the link, or Paid.
There is also a switch for whether it appears on the Events tab at all, and one for whether members can see who else is going.

This is a separate question from who can join, and people conflate the two.

Open Options if you need them
Collapsed by default, and it holds: recording, live chat, requiring an RSVP, limiting seats, when reminders go out, whether it repeats, and the timezone.
Reminders default to twenty four hours and one hour before. You can pick up to five from a week ahead down to fifteen minutes.
Publish
Save draft while you are still working, Publish when it is ready. Publishing is what sends invitations.
What members get
The event appears on their Events tab. They press I'm going and get a calendar invitation by email, which drops it into Google, Apple or Outlook properly. There is also an Add to calendar button on the page itself.
Then reminders arrive on your schedule, and if you are hosting in Drry they get an email when you actually open the room.
Common questions
Can I invite people who are not members?
Yes, by email, and that needs the Creator plan. On a private event you can also decide whether an invited person still needs a membership to join, which is how free intro calls work.
Can I use my own Zoom link?
Yes, on every plan. Choose Paste a link. If you connect your Google account in the Events settings, Drry can also make a fresh Meet link for each session.
Can I sync these to my own calendar?
Yes. The Calendar sync button gives you a private link you subscribe to from Google, Apple or Outlook. It includes drafts, since it is your planning view. Regenerating it immediately breaks the old one everywhere.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancelling notifies everyone who RSVP'd and updates the entry in their calendar app.
