Create a form that charges on submit
Turn a form into a checkout. People fill it in, a payment panel opens, and they become a contact once they have paid. Steps, limits and what to expect.

A form can sell a product. Someone fills in your questions and presses the submit button. A payment panel opens right there. They become a contact only once the payment goes through.
Use it for an application with a fee, a paid audit intake, or a paid workshop sign-up with questions.
Create the product to sell
In the sidebar press Bio Link & Store, open the Products tab and press New product. For a file, see Sell a digital product. For a service, choose A service under What buyers get and fill in What happens next.
Then open the product's ... menu and press Start selling. The status must read Selling.
Make a new form
In the sidebar press Landing Pages & Forms, then open the Forms tab. Press New form and pick a starting point. General form is a safe choice.
Set up your questions
Use the field list on the left. The email field is always there and cannot be removed. Ask for as little as you need.
Switch the outcome to Purchase
In the right panel, The outcome, find the card After they submit. It has three buttons: Success screen, Redirect and Purchase. Press Purchase.
If Purchase is greyed out, a line beside it says why. Either you have no product on sale yet, or your seat is not an owner or admin.
Pick the product
Under They buy, open the dropdown Product to sell and pick your product. A form sells one product.
Under it you will see: "Submitting opens checkout right there. Nobody is saved as a contact, and no audience is joined, until the payment goes through."
Choose the button label (optional)
The Submit button label field shows "Pay + the product's price" while it is empty. Type your own words to replace it, such as "Apply and pay".
Choose an audience for buyers (optional)
Leave Add them to an audience on and pick a list. People are added only after they have paid.
The Deliver a freebie card and the Confirmation email are paused while the form sells. A free download or an "you're in" email would go to people who have not paid.
Publish
Press Publish at the top right and copy the link. Your form is now live at your address followed by
/f/and the form's name.Test it
Open the link in a private browser window. Fill in the form, press the submit button and pay with a real card. Then refund yourself from Settings, then Getting paid, then the Accept payments card.
Check three things: the payment under Bio Link & Store, then Orders; the answers on the form's Responses tab; and the person as a contact in Emails, then Audiences.
What the person sees
They fill in the form and press the submit button.
A payment panel opens over the page, on Stripe's secure form. If you set an add-on on the product, they are offered it first.
They pay by card, or with Stripe Link if it is on for your account.
They see the product's confirmation: the download for a file, or your What happens next text for a service. They also get a receipt by email.
Their answers are saved the moment they press submit, even if they never pay. Their contact record and audience are added only when the payment succeeds.
Where you find things afterwards
Everyone's answers, paid or not: the form's Responses tab.
Who paid: Bio Link & Store, then Orders.
Buyers as contacts: Emails, then Audiences, in the audience you chose.
Refunds: Settings, then the Getting paid tab, then the Accept payments card. Only the owner can refund. A refunded purchase removes the buyer's access to the product.
Common questions
Can I charge without making a product first?
No. A form can only charge by selling one of your products. Make the product first.
Can one form sell more than one product?
No. A form sells one product. You can set an add-on on that product, which the buyer is offered before they pay.
Do people who do not pay become contacts?
No. They appear in the form's Responses tab, but they are not added as a contact or to an audience unless they pay.
Can I send a confirmation email or a freebie from a selling form?
No. Both are paused while the form sells. The buyer gets the product's own confirmation and a receipt.
Does Drry take a cut?
No. Drry takes 0% on every plan. Stripe charges its normal processing fee.
Can I use this to charge for a booking?
No. To charge for a booked session, attach a service product to the session type. See Set up a paid booking.
Why can I not turn on Purchase?
Either you have no product on sale yet, or you are not an owner or admin. The line beside the greyed button says which.
Can I stop taking payments after a set date or number of people?
Yes. Use the form's close date or maximum number of responses in its Settings. After that, the page shows your closed message instead of the form.
