Make it look like yours

The Customize is where your community stops looking like a default and starts looking like you. Everything visual lives here, plus most of the wording your members read.

Find it in the sidebar under Customize. Only the owner and admins can open it.

Brand

Three things:

• Wordmark. The text in your header. Leave it empty and your community name is used.

• Logo. An image shown instead of the wordmark. A transparent PNG or an SVG works best.

• Browser tab icon. The little square in the browser tab. Square images work best, 512 by 512 pixels or larger.

Colours

Five slots: your page background, your text colour, your accent, your card background, and a soft background used behind quieter sections. Each has presets and a custom picker.

Your accent is the one that does the most work. It colours buttons, links, highlights and the numbers in your courses. It also carries through to your sign-in emails and the preview cards people see when they share your links.

There is a separate control for the text on your buttons, set to Auto by default. Auto picks light or dark text based on your accent. If you override it and the result is hard to read, Drry warns you before you save.

Typography

A heading font and a body font from a curated list. If you have a licensed font of your own you can upload it. Accepted formats are woff2, woff, ttf and otf, up to 2 MB.

The words, not just the look

Two Customize sections change what members read rather than how it looks.

Page copy holds the headline and supporting line for your courses page, your community feed, your audio library, your guides, and the page someone lands on when a link is broken. Every field is optional. Leave one blank and a sensible default is used.

Onboarding holds what a brand new member sees the first time they arrive: the welcome message, the profile questions you ask them, and the confirmation at the end. You choose which profile fields appear and which are required.
