The blog itself

The blog is on every plan, including Free, and there is no limit on how many posts you can write. Drafts and scheduled posts are free too.

What depends on your plan

  • Analytics. Available on the Creator plan. Creator looks back 90 days, Growth as far as your blog goes. Per-author numbers are available on the Growth plan. See Your blog's numbers.

  • Your own domain. Available on the Creator plan. See Connect your own domain.

  • Teammates. Admin and editor seats come with the Growth plan. See Writing with your team.

  • Forms. The subscribe band is one of your forms. The Free plan includes two forms, and Creator and Growth are unlimited. See Let readers subscribe by email.

  • Powered by Drry. The footer link shows on the Free plan, as it does on your other pages.

Check What each plan includes for the current plans.

What counts toward your storage

  • Pictures in your posts: covers, images, gallery photos, bookmark pictures and author photos. A post keeps every picture it has shown until the post is deleted.

  • Pictures copied in by an import, and pictures copied into an email when you use Email this post.

  • Words cost nothing.

See Storage: what counts and what does not.

What counts toward your emails

An email to your subscribers, or to members and contacts, counts toward your plan's emails like any broadcast, one for each person who receives it. Writing, publishing and scheduling a post do not count. See Your send allowance.

Size limits

  • Title 200 characters, subtitle 300, excerpt 400, search title 70, search description 200, link 80.

  • Up to 300 blocks in a post. A code block holds up to 10,000 characters, a button's words up to 60.

  • A gallery holds up to 12 photos. A table holds up to 50 rows and 8 columns, with 500 characters in a cell.

  • Up to 50 categories, and up to 5 on a post.

  • Up to 50 author profiles, and up to 3 bylines on a post.

  • Up to 30 templates.

  • History keeps a post's newest 20 versions, for up to 60 days.

  • A post can be scheduled up to two years ahead.

  • Your blog's home shows 12 posts to a page. Your RSS feed carries the 30 newest.

  • Pictures can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.

  • An import brings up to 2,000 posts, from a file up to 100 MB, with up to 60 pictures for any one post.
