Turn on the audio library

The audio library is a separate tab for things people listen to rather than watch. Meditations, mobility sessions, recorded coaching, a podcast for members only.

Two things make it different from a video lesson. There is no processing wait: a track plays the moment it finishes uploading. And the player lives in the frame of your community, so audio keeps playing while a member reads the feed or browses courses.

What members get

A library page with search, tags and your collections, plus a "Continue listening" row. The player sits at the bottom of the screen and stays there as they move around: play and pause, skip fifteen seconds, change speed, a sleep timer, and automatic play through a collection.

It also wires into their phone properly, so it shows on the lock screen and their headphone buttons work.

Podcast apps and feeds

A member can subscribe properly instead of only listening inside Drry. On the track or collection page, one-tap buttons offer Add to Apple Podcasts, Overcast and Pocket Casts, plus a QR code on that page for scanning into whichever app they already use. Spotify is not supported: it does not accept private podcast feeds, only ones submitted to its public directory, so there is no way to offer it a members-only show.

You choose what the feed covers. Offer the whole library as one feed, or turn a single collection into its own separate show with its own feed, so a "Meditations" collection and a "Coaching calls" collection can be followed independently.

Show settings

On Growth, the show itself has settings, not just the tracks in it: in Customize, then Audio, set the show's title, host name, description, its Apple Podcasts category, language, and whether it is marked explicit. Every field starts out matching what your feed already looked like, so leaving them alone changes nothing.

Choose episodic if members can listen in any order, or serial if there is a right order to follow. A serial show numbers each track by season and episode, using your own collections as seasons and the order you set the tracks in within them.

Release on a schedule

A track's Release section works the same way lesson scheduling does: available right away, a set time after joining (a chosen number of days after each member's own join date), or on a specific date that everybody hits at once. Gating a track to a tier

If you sell membership tiers, a track can carry its own tier gate: pick the minimum tier on the track's details, and anyone below it sees it locked rather than missing entirely. It is the same picker used on courses and lessons.
