Marketing email is metered per usage period. The allowance is generous relative to the audience each plan can hold, and it exists so that one plan cannot cost more in email than it costs to buy.

  • Free: 700 sends. That is one full broadcast to a full free-plan audience, with room to spare.

  • Creator: 60,000 sends.

  • Growth: 500,000 sends.

What counts

One person receiving one marketing email is one send. A broadcast to 300 people is 300. Journeys count the same way. Account email does not count at all: sign-in codes, receipts and booking confirmations are never metered.

Running out

You are told before you commit to a send that would not fit. Nothing is deleted and nothing breaks.

Sending past the allowance

On Creator and Growth you can turn on overage in Settings. Sending then continues past your included allowance and is charged at $0.25 per 1,000 emails against a spend cap you set yourself. With overage off, sending simply stops at your allowance.

Common questions

Do new content emails count?

Yes, they are mail to your members. They are also the emails most worth spending an allowance on.

Can I buy more?

On Creator and Growth, yes: turn on overage in Settings and set a spend cap. On free there is no overage, so the next plan up is the answer, and it lifts the audience limits that usually moved first anyway.

Does a test send count?

It is one email to one person, so yes, and it is the best send you will make all week.
