Send from your own domain
Connect a domain you own so your community's email comes from you, with the five DNS records it needs. Available on the Growth plan.

By default your community's email goes out from a Drry sending address, branded as you. Connecting your own domain means it comes from your address, signed by your domain, which looks better and, over time, delivers better.
Add your domain in Settings
Enter the domain you want to send from. Drry sets it up on our sending infrastructure and gives you the DNS records.
Publish five DNS records
Three DKIM records, which sign your mail as genuinely yours; an MX and an SPF record on a bounce subdomain, so failures come back to us and are handled; and a DMARC record, which tells receiving providers what to do with mail that fails those checks.
Wait for it to verify
DNS takes anywhere from minutes to a few hours. The settings card polls while it is pending and there is a check now button when you are impatient.
Send a test
Once it is verified, send yourself a broadcast and check the From address is what you expected.
What it changes
Everything your community sends to members and buyers moves to your domain, sign-in codes included, so your members stop seeing a name they do not recognise at the moment they are trying to get in.
Common questions
Do I need a separate domain?
No. Use the domain you already have. Mail is sent from a subdomain of it, so it does not interfere with your own mailbox.
Will this fix my deliverability?
It helps, and it is not magic. Sending wanted mail to people who asked for it is what actually fixes deliverability.
Can I receive replies at my domain?
Replies come back to you already. Inbound handling on your own domain is not part of this.
