Sync your sessions with Google, Apple or Outlook
Connect Google so busy times close your booking slots and sessions copy to a (Drry) calendar, or subscribe any calendar app to your private Drry feed.

There are two ways to get your Drry sessions onto a calendar you already live in, and they do different jobs.
Connect Google. A two way link. Times your Google Calendar shows as busy come off your booking page, and your sessions are copied into a calendar of their own in your Google account. The same connection can also make a fresh Google Meet link for each session.
The private feed. A link any calendar app can subscribe to, including Apple Calendar and Outlook. It is one way: your sessions show up there, and nothing in those apps reaches Drry.
Both are free on every plan.
What connecting Google does
One sign-in covers three things, and each has its own switch:
A Google Meet link for every session. Made fresh on your own Google account for each booking and event that uses Meet.
Busy in Google means not bookable here. Drry sees when you are busy, never what the event is.
Your sessions on your Google Calendar. Every published event and booking is copied into a calendar named after your community, followed by (Drry).
Open the Google card
Two doors lead to the same connection. In the sidebar click Events & Booking, then either press Calendar sync at the top right of the calendar, or open the Settings tab and find the card called Google Calendar and Meet.
Press Connect Google
You go to Google's own consent screen, then Google brings you back to the page you started from.
Leave every box ticked
Drry asks for everything in one screen. Roughly, the boxes let Drry: show which Google account is connected (your name and email), create Meet links for meetings it creates itself, see when your calendars are busy, see the names of your calendars so you can choose which count, and create and manage its own calendar in your account. That last one can touch nothing else in your Google account.
Check what came on by itself
The first time you connect, Drry switches on both directions: busy times from your main Google calendar start blocking your booking page, and your sessions start being copied. Each has its own switch on the card if you would rather turn one off.
Choose the calendars that count as busy
Under Calendars that count as busy, tick every Google calendar whose busy time should close your slots. The main one is marked. At least one must stay ticked. If you want nothing blocked, switch off Block busy times from Google Calendar instead.
Read the status line
Under each switch a line tells you how it is going, for example Last checked a moment ago, or 3 sessions in Google, updated a few minutes ago. A first copy shows Your sessions will appear in Google within a minute or two.
How busy blocking behaves
Times your chosen calendars show as busy come off your booking page, and show on your Events calendar as a grey Busy block with no title.
The booking page refreshes what it knows about your calendar about every three minutes, and asks Google again at the moment someone books, so a meeting you just added is caught.
Your own (Drry) calendar in Google is left out of the busy check, so a session does not block itself.
If Google cannot be reached, booking keeps working. Drry leans on the last busy times it saw, and the card says what went wrong.
Apple and Outlook calendars are not read. Keep your days off up to date for anything that lives there.
Take bookings explains how busy time interacts with your hours and daily limits.
How the (Drry) calendar behaves
Every published event goes on it, community, private and public alike, and so does every booking. That covers yesterday through a year ahead.
Drafts, cancelled sessions and deleted ones are removed. A session that has simply passed is left, so your history in Google does not empty itself.
Drry checks and updates it about once a minute, so a change here can take a moment to appear. A large first copy may need a few passes.
It invites nobody and emails nobody. Your members get their own invitations from Drry as usual.
Drry can only change that one calendar, never the rest of your account.
While copying is working, the new-booking email that goes to the connected Google address arrives without a calendar file, because the session is already on that calendar.
The private feed, for any calendar app
Use this for Apple Calendar, Outlook, or Google if you would rather not connect. It is the same button: Events & Booking, then Calendar sync.
Open Calendar sync
If Google is not connected, the menu is called Sync to your calendar and has buttons for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. If Google is connected, Google leads and this section is called Apple, Outlook and other apps.
Subscribe
Press your app's button, or press Copy link and paste the address into any calendar app that can subscribe to a calendar by web address.
Leave it alone
The app keeps itself up to date. Your sessions and bookings appear, and move or disappear when they do in Drry.
Good to know about the feed:
It lists published and draft events and bookings, because it is your planning view. Recently cancelled sessions stay on it, marked cancelled, so your calendar app removes them instead of leaving them behind.
It is one way. Busy times in Apple or Outlook never reach Drry.
It is yours, one link per person per community. The address is on your community's own address, on your custom domain if you have one.
If something stops updating
Google stopped letting Drry check your calendar. The card shows a red note and a Reconnect button. Reconnect, and busy blocking picks up where it left off.
Google stopped letting Drry update your calendar. Same fix: press Reconnect beside the copy switch.
One of your calendars could not be read. It may have been deleted or unshared. Untick it, or check it in Google.
Google did not answer. Drry keeps trying every minute for the copy, and uses the busy times it last saw in the meantime.
Common questions
Do I need a paid plan?
No. Calendar sync, the feed and the Google connection are on every plan. Hosting the video room inside Drry is a separate matter and needs Creator or above.
Can Drry see what my Google events are?
No. Drry only asks Google when you are busy, and the names of your calendars so you can pick them. It never reads an event's title, guests or notes.
Who does the connection belong to?
The community. Whichever owner or admin connects it, sessions go to that person's Google account. If you transfer your community, the previous owner's Google connection is disconnected and the new owner connects their own.
Can I use Outlook or Apple to block busy time?
Not yet. Only Google can close booking slots. Outlook and Apple can subscribe to the private feed, which is one way.
Why is a session missing from my Google calendar?
Only published sessions are copied, and a change can take a minute or two. A draft appears in the private feed but not in the (Drry) calendar.
Will attendees get a Google invitation from this?
No. Copying invites nobody. Members who RSVP get their own email invitation with a calendar file, as described in Schedule your first event.
