Share a link in Resources
Add a Google Doc, Canva design, Loom video or any secure web page to Resources, with an automatic title and picture, and what members do with it.

Not everything you share is a file. A Google Doc, a Canva design, a Loom video or a Notion page can sit in Resources next to your uploads. Members open it with one tap, in a new tab. The page is not embedded in Drry, and nothing is uploaded, so a link uses no storage of its own.
Open the Add menu
In Resources, press Add, then Add a link.
Paste the address
Only secure addresses work: they must start with https. If you paste one with no scheme at all, Drry puts https:// in front. Addresses that carry a username or password, or that point at a private or local network, are refused. Drry then looks up the page and fills in its title, description and picture.
Check what it filled in
Change the Title and Description if you want, and pick a Folder. For the cover, keep The page's image as the cover ticked, press Upload a cover... to use your own, or leave it off. If the address is already in Resources, a note tells you, and you can still add it again for another folder.
Press Add link
The link is added as a draft, so members do not see it yet. Publish it when you are ready. See Publish files and email your members.
Change the address later
Open the link and edit its Address. It saves when you click away. Every route to the link, including emails you already sent, goes to the new address.
Counts, limits and tiers
Each time a member presses Open, the link's open count goes up. Your own team's opens are not counted.
A community can hold up to 1,000 links.
A link's cover photo is stored in Drry, so that picture counts toward your storage. The link itself does not.
Tier limits work on links like on files. Members open a link through Drry, so a locked link's address stays hidden from anyone it is not for. Anyone you give the address to directly can still open it on that site.
Common questions
What do members see on a link's card?
The cover and title as for a file, and the website's name where a file would show its type and size. The button says Open.
What happens if I delete or unpublish a link?
Members lose it at once. Deleting removes it from Resources only; the page itself is not touched. A member who follows an old link or email lands back in Resources with a note that the link is not available any more.
Can I use a link to a video?
Yes. A Loom or YouTube address opens on its own site in a new tab. For a video file you own, upload an MP4 instead and members can watch it in Drry.
