What you can put in a post
Every block in the post editor's menu: images, galleries, videos, embeds, tables, buttons, cards for your own content, and more.
- blog
- editor
- blocks
- images
- embeds
- buttons
Type words straight onto the page, and press / on an empty line to add anything else. Type a few letters to search the menu, for example table or spotify. The Add bar under the post adds a block at the end instead of where your cursor is. Each block has its own settings right where it sits in the post.
Basic
Callout: a tip, a note or a careful, set apart from the text around it. You pick which in the block.
Pull quote: one line worth setting apart.
Media
Image: a picture with a description for screen readers and an optional caption. Pick its size: Normal, Wide or Full-bleed.
Gallery: up to 12 photos together, each with its own description, plus a caption. Choose Grid for even tiles or Feature first for a large first photo with the rest beside it. A reader taps a photo to open a full-screen viewer with previous and next arrows.
Video: paste a YouTube, Loom or Vimeo link.
Embed: paste a Spotify link (an episode, show, track, album, playlist or artist), an Instagram post or reel, or a TikTok.
Bookmark: paste the address of another page and Drry reads its title, description and picture to fill a card. You can change any of it. The picture is copied into your blog, so it never changes if the other site changes it. A page that shares nothing still gets a card, titled with its site, and you write the rest.
Layout
Divider: a break between two parts.
Table: type one in, or paste one from a spreadsheet. Up to 50 rows and 8 columns, and 500 characters in a cell. The first row is the header unless you pick No header. A wide table scrolls inside its own frame on a phone.
Toggle: a line readers tap to open the rest.
Contents: your headings as a linked list, so readers can jump to a part.
Questions, Steps and Numbers: a set of questions and answers that open on a tap, a how-it-works sequence, and a few figures worth showing.
Sell
Button: one button to any page, course, offer or link. Set its words, its Look (Filled or Outline) and its Position (Left or Center). Leave the destination empty and it leads to your join page. Links to other sites open in a new tab.
Call to action: a band with one button.
Book a call: readers pick a time without leaving the post.
Membership offer: your membership and its price, with a join button.
Form: capture an email address, an application or a question. See Create your first form.
Pricing: plans side by side.
Your community
Card: shows one course, event, product, guide, session type or page from your community, as it is today. It is drawn from the thing itself every time the post is read, so a renamed course or a changed price is never out of date in an old post. It shows the thing's cover, what kind of thing it is, its title and one line about it, and one fact: a price, a date, or how many lessons.
A card for something a visitor could not open draws nothing, rather than a link to a refusal. That covers a draft course or page, a private or members-only guide, a course behind a membership tier, a cancelled event, an archived product and a paused session. You still see a draft course or page in your own preview, so you can set the card up before you publish it.
Advanced
Code: a snippet shown as typed, with a copy button and a language label.
On a live post, a button in a Call to action or Pricing section that points at a product or a session opens checkout or the time picker in a sheet over the post, as it does on a funnel page. The post's own Button and Card blocks go to the product's or the session's page instead. Previewing a draft never opens a sheet.
Common questions
How do I bring over posts I wrote somewhere else?

Is there a limit to how long a post can be?
A post holds up to 300 blocks. A code block holds up to 10,000 characters. See Blog: plans, limits and what counts.
