Find your way around

A tour of the sidebar: what lives under Create, Engage, Grow and Manage, and which four screens you will actually use every week.

Your console is the private side of your community. Members never see it. Everything in it is grouped by what you are trying to do, so you can usually find a thing by asking which of four verbs it belongs to.

Home and Get started

Home is the overview: new members, recent activity, revenue, and whatever needs your attention. Get started walks a brand new community through building its first funnel. Once you have published one, it stops nagging you.

Create

The things you make.

  • Courses: video, audio and text lessons, grouped into sections.

  • Guides: a renameable how-to library for recipes, workouts, protocols, anything step shaped.

  • Audio: an opt-in library of tracks and collections, with its own player.

Engage

The things you do with people.

  • Community: the discussion feed, its categories, and the moderation queue.

  • Events & Booking: your calendar, live sessions, webinars, and one to one bookings.

  • Emails & Contacts: broadcasts, automated journeys, and everyone you can reach.

  • Members: who has joined, what they are worth, and your team seats.

  • Direct messages: your inbox with individual members.

Grow

The things that bring money and people in.

  • Funnels & Forms: landing pages, lead capture, and your website pages.

  • Bio Link & Store: the one link you put in a social profile, and the digital products you sell from it.

  • Offers: discounts and founding member pricing on your membership.

  • Payments & Agreements: one off and recurring payment links, contracts, and payment plans.

  • Analytics: what is working.

Manage

  • Customize: your wordmark, colours, fonts, and every word a member reads.

  • Settings: your plan, Stripe, domains, tiers, and the danger zone.

  • Help: this documentation.

Common questions

Some of these are not in my sidebar. Why?

Your seat decides it. An editor does not get the member list, direct messages, the community moderation queue, analytics, offers, payments, the store or settings. Note that the switches in Customize change what your MEMBERS see, not your own sidebar: your console keeps Audio and Guides whether or not those tabs are live for members.

Can I collapse the sidebar?

Yes. Collapsing keeps the icons and the dividers between groups. On a phone the same list opens from the menu button.

Do admins and editors see the same sidebar?

No. An editor sees the things they can build and none of the money or member management. An admin sees almost everything except billing. Only the owner sees all of it.
