Free or paid, monthly or yearly or once, and what members see on your join page.

Your membership price is in Settings, under Membership price, just below the Stripe card. Owner only.
One membership unlocks everything in your community. There is no per-course checkout and no tiered content, so you are setting one number.
The choices
Recurring charges every month or every year until someone cancels. This is what most communities use.
One-time charges once for permanent access. Good for a course-shaped thing with an end, less good for a community you intend to keep running.
Zero makes your community free to join.
You can also offer both a monthly and a yearly price. Tick Also offer an annual price and a second field appears. Members pick which they want on your join page, and Drry works out the saving and shows it as a badge.
What your members see
Your join page shows the price, a line about what it includes, and a button. Free communities get "Join for free". Recurring gets "Subscribe" and "Cancel anytime". One-time gets "Get lifetime access" and "Lifetime access. No recurring charges."
Pressing it takes them to Stripe's own checkout page, then straight back into your community.
If your Stripe account is not finished, the price still shows but the button is disabled and reads "Payments are not quite ready here yet." Members are never shown an error.
Common questions
What happens to existing members when I change the price?
It depends which direction, and it is important enough to have its own article. Read "What happens when you change your price".
Can I offer a discount?
Yes, through Offers, which let you sell your membership at a reduced price for a set time or a set number of people. That is separate from your standard price.
Can I charge different prices to different members?
Not directly. Existing members keep whatever they signed up at when you raise the price, and Offers let you run a lower price for a while, but there is no per-member pricing.
Can I let someone in for free?
Yes. On the Members page, Grant free access. They need a Drry account first, so ask them to sign in once.
